Growth Hub – LLEP Business Gateway

What is a Growth Hub?

Quite simply, it’s a free/fully-funded and impartial resource that exists to provide expert support and advice, diagnostic services, networking opportunities and signposting for all businesses, but with a particular focus on those looking to grow and/or increase their productivity.

There are currently 38 Growth Hubs across England (one in each Local Enterprise Partnership area) each designed to meet the specific needs of their local economies. Because Growth Hubs are locally owned and led by Local Enterprise Partnerships, businesses can be confident that when they speak to a Growth Hub business adviser, or one of their delivery partners, they are speaking to someone who truly understands the environment in which that business is operating.

By being part of a national network, the Growth Hub is able to draw on expertise, best practice and connections from across the Growth Hub Network, central Government, national and local partners such as
Department for International Trade, Innovate UK and British Business Bank to local support providers, universities and local authorities.

How can the Growth Hub help businesses grow?

Growth Hub Advisers and their delivery partners are experts in assessing and diagnosing business need and have a wealth of knowledge of the funding, local and national support programmes available to businesses. Furthermore, the advice they provide is free/fully funded and impartial so businesses can be confident that they are receiving the most appropriate information in relation to their specific needs and situations.

Why should businesses go to their local Growth Hub over another business support advice service?

Government and non-Government research suggests that businesses can find the business support landscape confusing. With so many options out there, it is often difficult to know what the best route is, or who the best provider is. The Growth Hub can help to simplify the business support landscape, providing free/fully funded and impartial advice to help businesses navigate the business support landscape and find the service that offers the best solution to their specific needs.

What kinds of businesses does the Growth Hub support?

No matter the size, sector or maturity of a business the Growth Hub will be able to provide the support needed or direct the business to an organisation who can provide it. It’s a key benefit of the Growth Hub service – no business will be turned away. Whether it’s sourcing funding, developing employees or breaking into new markets, Growth Hub Advisers are on-hand to engage with businesses and connect them to the most appropriate support.

What services does the Growth Hub offer?
