Eligible businesses could receive up to 12 hours of tailored support at no cost to the business through the Collaborate project. This includes attendance at workshops, relevant networking events, and tailored 1 to 1 business Support with an industry specialist.  The business support is tailored to meet the business needs; including but not limited to:

– Business diagnostics including advice, guidance and signposting
– Business Planning
– Improving Business Practices
– Brand Development and Marketing
– Business Growth Opportunities
– Business expansion opportunities including assistance with premises search
– Workforce planning
– Recruitment support including traineeship opportunities
– Supply Chain Development
– Access to funding including grants

The textile adviser will also provide details about the Collaborate business growth grant if you are looking to expand and grow:

– Capital grants of between £5,000 to £25,000 are available for Leicester or Leicestershire SMEs that trade business-to-business.
– The grant will be made up of 33% of the project cost
– Businesses must be trading business to business for 12 months or more and must create at least one full time job for every £10,000 of grant funding awarded.
