A practical session for food/drink manufacturers on the changes to the SALSA (safe and local supplier approval) standard and how it affects your business.

An overview

The SALSA Standard has been revised and Issue 5, published in June, contains a number of key changes which now auditable. Attend this workshop to ensure your business is able to continue to achieve SALSA accreditation.

This workshop is being delivered by The Food and Drink Forum’s technical team and will outline the benefits of the SALSA Standard and how the changes to requirements within Issue 5 will affect your business and how to identify and implement these changes to obtain/continue to obtain SALSA accreditation.


To make delegates aware of the new SALSA Issue 5 Update and how the newly introduced changes are relevant to their business.

This event is delivered as part of the Collaborate Growing Business Together project and is specifically aimed at Food and Drink Manufacturing businesses based in Leicester and Leicestershire, with fewer than 250 employees.
