Locally, the Leicester Employment Hub supports people into apprenticeships and helps local employers to recruit an apprentice.

Contact them for an informal chat to understand how taking on an apprentice can benefit your business on 0116 454 5771 or visit https://leicesteremploymenthub.co.uk/. If you need help with the apprenticeship reforms, whether as a micro, SME or large business, the Leicester Employment Hub can also help to support you.

Support for employers:

-What is an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are work based training programmes designed to meet your business needs. They combine work place learning with academic study leading to a higher qualified workforce. More than 100,000 employers currently use Apprenticeships to attract new talent, cut costs and tackle future skill shortages.

-The Employment Hub will support you to:

  • Identify the best organisation to deliver the training element of the apprenticeship
  • Access any financial support for which you may be eligible
  • Promote apprenticeship vacancies through the Employment Hub website and social media platforms
  • Offer clear and transparent information to enable you to decide if recruiting an apprentice meets your business needs
  • Ensure quality assurance standards are met by training providers
  • Reduce the level of bureaucracy

Working with a number of key local agencies means they can offer the support required to recruit your apprentice without the multi-agency confusion.
