SUPPORT FOR THE FUTURE WORKFORCE

The Careers and Enterprise Company:

Opportunities for local employers to link to a future workforce!  The Careers and Enterprise Company is a new government initiative to inspire and prepare young people for the world of work, by linking employer volunteers (Enterprise Advisers) with local schools.

LEBC (Leicestershire Education Business Company):

LEBC manages the biggest work experience programme across the city and county and can help you to find the right student to give you some support in your business on either a block week basis or even for a couple of days a week over a term.

Businesses can gain a valuable insight into their future workforce, they can scope potential employees or apprentices, it allows junior employees to gain some supervisory experience, helps to meet CSR objectives and can often give businesses fresh new ideas.
